WINLEVI demonstrated safety in FEMALE and MALE patients who used the treatment for up to 12 months.
Side effects were generally mild to moderate.

In a study where people applied 6X the prescribed amount of WINLEVI, some patients experienced a disorder where the adrenal gland does not make enough of certain hormones. However, this did not occur in WINLEVI clinical trials with the prescribed twice-daily dosing of one gram.
